New MACH cutter grinder

Bob Hill, director of Elite Tooling, recently confirmed his order at MACH for a £175,000 purchase of an ANCA RX7 cutter grinder, pallet loading system and 700 Litre Turbo Centrifugal coolant system with temperature control. The machine is also specified with SPC analysis and control software.

Originally a manufacturer of high performance special tooling, Elite extended into the manufacture of standard tooling in response to customer demand.

'The new RX machine is compact, powerful, versatile, and equally efficient for both our single tool and batch productions.'

Main use of the machine will initially be for producing solid carbide endmills in batches of 1000, running unmanned and overnight to help
beat tough overseas competition.
